The inauguration of the Oxford Brookes Enterprise Centre, offering companies access to lab and office space, with access to expert and professional networks, is to take place on 29th September 2022
The Oxford Brookes Enterprise Centre is a new part-Government funded project delivered by OxLEP in collaboration with Oxford Brookes University. The Centre is set to promote entrepreneurship and support start-up businesses in the county. The project aims to support the creation of at least 17 start-up companies and 74 jobs over the next 5 years. The Oxford Brookes Enterprise Centre comprises Scale Base and the Bioinnovation Hub.
- ScaleBase provides premises for spinout and early-stage companies, including co-working spaces, hot desks, private offices, meeting rooms and a multi-purpose enterprise event space.
- Bioinnovation Hub gives companies access to CL2 labs, extensive facilities, and desk spaces.
The Centre also aims to develop links between member startups and Oxford Brookes’ academic expertise, student engagement, and professional networks. The Centre will highlight and refer startups to specialist facilities on campus and utilise its location close to the hospitals and research centres within the Headington health campus. The Centre focuses on health, life sciences, and digital technologies companies.
The event to mark the opening of the Centre will take place on 29th September 2022 from 16.30-19.00 at The Terrace, Oxford Brookes Headington Campus (check out the What Three Words location here).
